Permanent Absentee Voter Ballot List
About Absentee Voting
With the passage of Proposal 3 in 2018, all registered voters are now eligible to vote early (by mail or in person) without providing a reason.
Benefits of being on the Permanent Absentee Voter Ballot Application List:
- You will automatically receive an absent voter ballot application before each scheduled election in your jurisdiction..
- If you choose to return the application, your local clerk will send you a ballot as soon as they arrive in their office.
- You can vote at a time convenient for you and avoid any potential lines on Election Day.
- You can take your time studying the ballot and vote from home when you are ready.
How to Apply
To be added to the Permanent Absentee Voter Ballot List in your city or township, please use the online application form below. Your submission will be routed to your local clerk, and you will automatically receive an absent ballot application for every election.
- Please note: Voters on the list are not automatically sent an actual ballot (you must return the application that is automatically sent to you each election).
- You will still have the option to vote in person at the polls in every future election if you are registered to vote and wish to do so.
