MACOMB COUNTY CLERK TAKES OFFICE ON THE ROAD
The Macomb County Clerk / Register of Deeds will continue to provide county clerk services on the road via a mobile branch office. This is her fourth year doing so.
“I want to continue to make it convenient for the public to get what they need from my office,” said the Macomb County Clerk. “It’s not always easy for a person to get to Mount Clemens during the work day.”
The Macomb County Clerk will personally offer a wide variety of clerk services in her “mobile office,” including:
- requests for vital records copies, such as birth and death certificates, and military discharge records
- requests for real estate searches and deed copies
- requests for public circuit court documents
- applications for marriage licenses
- applications for business registrations and renewals
- applications for concealed weapons permits
- applications for civil service commission
- registering voters
The Macomb County Clerk will bring her mobile office to the following locations between 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.:
- Thursday, May 17, 2007-MacDonald Public Library, 36480 Main Street, New Baltimore
- Thursday, June 14, 2007-Macomb County Library, 16480 Hall Road, Clinton Township
- Thursday, July 19, 2007-Sterling Heights Public Library, 40255 Dodge Park, Sterling Heights
- Wednesday, August 15, 2007-Fraser Public Library, 16330 14 Mile Road, Fraser
- Thursday, September 13, 2007-Clinton-Macomb Public Library, 40900 Romeo Plank, Clinton Township
“The mobile office has no additional cost to the taxpayers,” said the Macomb County Clerk. “People may still also use our evening office hours, 24-hour fax-on-demand system, overnight delivery service and web site.
