Enjoy Macomb’s agricultural destinations all year long
Macomb County’s many agricultural tourism destinations offer diverse opportunities to find recreational activities and seasonal foods. As fall progresses toward winter, you-pick apples orchard, pumpkin patches and farm stands make way for you-cut Christmas trees, hot cider and holiday pies. But did you know many of these destinations are expanding their operations to offer services and products beyond fall?
The Fall in Love with Macomb promotional campaign urges residents and visitors to explore Macomb County’s orchards and farms year-round. For example, did you know Westview Orchards offers wine tasting at its beautiful new winery? Or that you can enjoy a great meal and refreshing hard cider at Blake Farms’ cider house? Or that Miller’s Big Red is building a new distillery and bike park? Whether you’re in the market for baked goods, seasonal activities for the family or space to hold an event, look #BeyondTheBushel at one of Macomb County’s many agricultural destinations.
“Our growing agricultural destinations have something for everyone,” said Macomb County Executive Mark A. Hackel. “From family-friendly farm activities to craft beverages, Macomb County growers are offering so many fresh and engaging experiences.”
